Vinyasa Flow Description

Blend of invigorating vinyasa flow with clear eye-opening alignment instructions. Classes focus on all areas of yoga incorporating postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and deep relaxation (savasana or meditation). Ideal for beginner to advanced yogis. Join the group at any time.

Happiness is found in moments of alignment.

I first discovered yoga ten years ago when I was suffering from serious neck and back pain because I had been managing two different full-time office jobs at the same time for too long. Lots of different therapies did not help. After spending two years in pain, I started a regular yoga practice which released me from pain in only one month. I felt like reborn and was so grateful for the new freedom. I still remember my first yoga class, and how overwhelmingly inflexible and weak I felt. However, what amazed me was the dramatic difference in just a few sessions.

After exploring different styles and teachers around the world I found my joy in Wisdom Flow Yoga on Maui. Its precise alignments combined with yoga philosophy really inspired me and changed my views on my capabilities and life around me. That was when I discovered yoga to be much more than just a way to stay in shape and relieve stress, it was an empowering practice of self-healing. Over my years practicing I have also come to see the breath as the most powerful and accessible tool for relaxation, healing and transformation. I successfully used breathing techniques to keep a calm steady mind and clear energy e.g. when giving birth, speaking in front of a big audience or facing challenging meetings.

I now find happiness and purpose helping others experience yoga as a personal practice for healing and preventative-care.  In my yoga classes I invite you to drop into the power of breath and movement to awaken the deep layers of potential within and to align body and mind. I am a certified Yoga Instructor through Wisdom Flow Yoga School (Hawaii) and registered with Yoga Alliance.
